The Nordica Promachine 3 110 is a narrow-lasted performance boot for skiers who want race-room precision without a punishing flex. Built on the all-new 3Force Frame, it wraps a stiff internal skeleton in softer plastic, so the boot drives hard but still stays livable over a full day. The low-volume shell and cork-molded liner add up to a snug, locked-in fit that rewards a forward, committed stance.

Why we like it:

The new 3D Speed Lace Cork Fit Liner is the standout, with anatomically sculpted cork around the ankle and heel that locks you down, plus an integrated speed-lace system so you never have to wrestle the liner out of the shell. We're also fans of the ServoLock buckles pulled from the Dobermann race line; they close faster and hold tension better than a standard throw.

Who it's for:

Built for advanced to expert skiers with narrow, lower-volume feet who ski with intent and like to feel connected to the edge. The 110 flex is the most forgiving rung on the Promachine 3 ladder, so it suits a strong skier who wants precision and power but not the bank-vault stiffness of a 130. If your foot tends to swim in a medium-volume boot, this 98mm shell is worth a look.

Highlights:

At the core of the Promachine 3 is the 3Force Frame, a construction that runs a lightweight, rigid frame along the sole and up into the spine of the cuff, then surrounds it with softer bi-injected PU. The payoff is strong lateral stability and energy transfer without the harshness that usually rides along with it. A redesigned bi-injected spine smooths out the flex pattern and helps keep you from getting backseat. Inside, the 3D Speed Lace Cork Fit Liner uses warm Isotherm material and PrimaLoft insulation, with moldable cork forming a precise heel pocket. An Adjustable 3D Cork Tongue fine-tunes tongue height over the shin through a simple Velcro system, and the wider 50mm power strap with a metal clip adjuster dials in cuff tension. Underfoot you get a new rockered GripWalk sole, and the whole shell can be customized with Nordica's Infrared Technology to chase out pressure points. An easy-entry soft flap at the instep makes getting in and out far less of a fight than a traditional overlap boot.

Things to consider:

This is a low-volume performance boot, so skiers with wider or higher-volume feet will likely find it too snug straight off the shelf. The 110 flex is the softest in the Promachine 3 family; a heavier or harder-charging skier will want the 120 or 130 S for more to push against. It also runs traditional buckles only, with no BOA option anywhere in the line.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Mondopoint sizing is consistent here, so order your usual size rather than trying to size up or down. The 98mm last runs narrow and low-volume, which is the entire point of the boot. Because this is a performance-flex boot, a session with a certified bootfitter is well worth it to get the shell and cork liner properly dialed.
